The Promise

Jess the Border collie owes his life to his owner Jenny Miles, and he'd do anything for her. They're the best of friends and, together, they're ready for all sorts of adventures!Jenny's new friend, David, has been kidnapped by crooks who want to prevent his dad giving evidence as the key prosecution witness against them. Jenny, Jess and neighbour Fiona stumble on the ruined bothy where he is being held and attempt to rescue him. Jess is the hero of the day as he protects them from the crooks until the police arrive. Carrie finally succumbs to her illness and while Jenny struggles with her grief, Jess becomes a father to a litter of puppies.
