Man of Blood

Piers Ashley is the black sheep of his aristocratic family. This son and heir to Ashleigh Hall has shamed himself forever in the eyes of his strict father and snobbish younger brother by becoming involved with a London gang, for which he recently completed a prison sentence. But his loving mother and sister simply can't believe he has gone that wrong. And, in fact, he hasn't. Far from being a criminal, Piers Ashley is an agent for F.9, a police unit so deeply undercover that its members frequently serve prison sentences along with members of the gangs they've infiltrated. Estrangement from families is the price they sometimes have to pay. But when Piers returns to his ancestral home after his release from prison, he finds that a frosty welcome is the least of his troubles: someone is stalking him and his family.
