Exotic adventure in Indonesia- with the expected blend of sultry background, action and intrigue traces the sudden death of the White Rajah of Selatan, the intervention of Dunster an, embittered Englishman, and the fate of the RaJah's children. The happy ending seems contrived however, and is not up to the sounder integration of romance and excitement in Derby's other work. (Kirkus Review)
