When Justin rescues Charity Anne from the Comanche, he never expected to fall in love. But how can he expect her to love him, when he's half-Comanche himself?

Texas Frontier, 1853

After an outbreak of smallpox ravaged the fledgling town of Knox Mills, Texas, the U.S. Marshals stationed there had thought they'd seen enough trouble to last a lifetime. They didn't count on the Comanches coming to reclaim their property.

Justin Ward, the newest U.S. Marshal in town, thinks he can take on a hundred Comanches by himself. And he's good enough that he might just be able to. He's cocky and self-assured when it comes to everything . . . except women.

When he volunteers to go out and collect a group of mail-order brides that might have been hijacked by Comanches along the Santa Fe trail, he finds more than he bargained for with Charity Anne Rhodes - young, sweet, and the most beautiful lady Justin has ever seen.

But behind all that bravado, Justin Ward is hiding a secret. Will Charity give him the strength to face his demons, or will confessing his past doom their future together?

Author's Note:
Justin's Captive Bride, Lawmen's Brides Book Four is a novel-length, historical mail-order bride romance with no cliffhangers that can be fully enjoyed as a standalone romance. It's a good clean romance with characters who hold Christian values. If you've already read the previous books in my Lawmen's Brides Series, then you'll be sure to enjoy seeing more of those couples you loved as side characters in this book!
