Two weeks in early June at Avalon Resort should be just the cure for Elaine's broken heart. Canoeing the glass-smooth lake, hiking the fragrant pine woods, and reading for hours in a hammock sound like heaven. However, Elaine soon thinks something is wrong under the beautiful facade. A pesky raven watches her with beady eyes. Her neighbors in the next cabin have a strained relationship. And when no one else is around, some of the staff talk to her about dark magic. After her former boyfriend sends an ominous text message claiming she will never love again, Elaine wonders what else can go wrong.
