(2025)
A novel by

Samantha Clark should be enjoying her senior year with her friends. Instead, her parents’ messy divorce forced a move across the country and left her struggling to cope. After developing some highly unwanted and embarrassing habits, Sam is compelled to examine her mental health. She’s diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder, and the associated anxiety is crippling.

As if her life wasn’t complicated enough, Sam meets a cute guy in the psychiatrist’s office. Peter is unabashedly candid and not afraid to get in her personal space, but he’s also quirky and charming. When they end up sitting at the same lunch table on the first day of school, it feels like fate has pushed them together.

Unfortunately, Peter’s bipolar disorder is even more ferocious than Sam’s OCD. Once they start dating, it’s clear that there will be challenges in their relationship. The sweet moments always seem to be overshadowed by their respective issues, causing them to wonder whether love is worth fighting for.

Trigger Warning - this story contains a suicide attempt.
