Murder, mayhem, and a missing stiff.
Just another Tuesday on Silver Island.Ahhh Silver Island small town living on the Atlantic Ocean, only accessible by ferry boat. A town so small we don’t even have a hospital, high school nor a police department. Just a local doctor, a public library and the cops that have to come over by ferry just like the tourists.
So, there I washeading home from the Island Festival smelling like fried doughwhen I trip over a corpse.
Yep. Dead guy. On my lawn. With a head wound the size of New Hampshire.
Naturally, I did what any responsible Crone witch would do: called the cops, then my friends so we could all gawk at him together.
Solid plan, right?
Except the baby-faced police officer guarding the body fell asleep, and the corpse has pulled a Houdini. POOF. Gone.
Enter complication number two: my sister Katherine rolls up the next day with Moira in towan elderly witch with dementia and a knack for unwittingly casting truth spells. (Think magical lie detector with no filter.) Suddenly the whole island’s dirty laundry is flying around like seagulls after French fries.
And just when I think it can’t get weirder, more witches show up like it''s some kind of convention, and my gut says trouble’s brewing. Big trouble.
Now I’ve got,
● a missing murder victim,
● a truth-bomb granny,
● a gaggle of witches who shouldn’t be here,
● and the very real possibility that I’ll be trading in my cauldron for an orange jumpsuit.
And orange? Yeah, it’s not my color.
If you like heroines with some life experience, magic and sass, you’ll love Ginnie Sullivan and her crew of magical misfits and quirky but loveable people living in the small island community. A paranormal women’s fiction series you won’t want to miss!
