The Raven’s Vessel has disappeared . . .
And Nic’s future depends on finding her.
Druid agent, Nic Ainsley, is searching for the Raven. A year and a half ago, the Raven’s Vessel, Hael Harley, went missing, and it is Nic’s job to find her. Tasked with locating the young woman without revealing the cult’s presence in Mapleton, VA, he has been perfectly placed in the town—attending Watson University and working for Hael’s father. The only problem? A warring faction amongst his own ranks has begun to interfere.
For a thousand years, the Druids have followed the teachings and guidance of the Priests. However, seven years ago, a zealous group of Brothers and Sisters chose a new path, favoring aggressive action over patience and surreptitious infiltration. Determined to fulfill the Mother’s will now, they are unwilling to wait for prophecies and omens. And they will do whatever it takes to make the Unveiling happen, even if that means violent ends.
As Nic searches for Hael and fights to maintain his cover, he must remain vigilant in his defense against the rogue Druids in town. But as he finds his heart becoming involved with those he plans to betray, he is forced to confront the demons of his past and ask himself: Who does his heart desire him to become?
