Daughter of the Moon

Guardian or deceiver? Princess or pawn? The moon remembers what the empire seeks to control.

As a huntress of Clan Stag Gréine, I’ve always been prepared to defend my people to the last. But nothing could have prepared me for the horrors of conquest under the Aquilan Empire. With my sister’s body still warm in its grave, I am forced to serve the very people who destroyed her, including a commander who harbors a dark obsession with me.

At my breaking point, the mysterious faun Hiberos lures me to the forest, his moonstone eyes as captivating as the soul-deep bond that draws us together. According to him, my recurring dreams of the lunar fae’s lost princess may not be dreams after all—they may be memories.

Trapped in a world that no longer feels my own, my only path to freedom lies in a triad of dangerous fae rituals. Hiberos offers a destiny that could be mine, but as each test pulls us deeper into the spiral of my past lives, I begin to wonder. Could he be my soulmate from lifetimes ago, or is he deceiving me?

Either way, the lunar fae won't wait forever—and neither will the Aquilan Empire. Can I harness the fragments of the princess I once was and reclaim her power before the next full moon? Or will these echoes of ancient trauma and forgotten loves end only in bloodshed?

This is the first book in the Guardians of the Fae Gate series, a trilogy inspired by Irish/British conflict and Celtic mythology, with an unbreakable heroine, a terrifyingly sexy villain, and an enigmatic faun love interest whose motives will keep you guessing. It is a slow-burn, dark fantasy romance with a fairy tale twist, and pulls inspiration from Pan's Labyrinth, 80s dark fantasy films, Throne of Glass, and Lord of the Rings. The steaminess increases as the series progresses.
