Before Hollywood paid him to fall, his country paid him to fight.
From Jeremy Elice — producer of Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, and Mad Men — comes the prequel to the Eddie Ankin Crime Thrillers.
Long before the stunts, the movie stars, and the murders of Los Angeles, Eddie Ankin was Sergeant Eddie Ankin, Marine Raider — one of the men the military sends when the mission can't fail.
Fallujah, 2007. An American doctor working for the WHO has been taken by Al Qaeda and buried in the tunnels beneath a hospital crawling with fighters. They want what's in her head: the knowledge to turn an outbreak into a weapon. Two rescue attempts have already failed. Eddie's team is attempt number three.
The plan is audacious: no armor, no rifles, no backup. Just a medical delivery truck, a borrowed aid worker's vest, and ten minutes of darkness to find one woman in a four-story hospital sitting on top of a terrorist stronghold.
Then the lights come back on.
This is the night that made Eddie Ankin the man readers have followed through six thrillers — the night he learned what he could do when no one was giving orders.
Perfect for fans of Lee Child's Jack Reacher, Nelson DeMille's John Corey, and Robert Crais's Elvis Cole.
Operation Showbiz is a prequel story in the Eddie Ankin Crime Thriller series.
The adventure begins in Book One, The Double. Available on Kindle
Genre: Mystery
