My world was perfectly perfect. Until she showed up.

I’m content with my life the way it is. I like order and everything in its place. My family and our business, Brewski’s, means everything to me and Ill do whatever it takes to make sure we stay open.

That’s why I spend my mornings creating new signature brews for my family’s restaurant. One of these days, my craft beers will put us on the map and the business will be secure. In my limited free time I create intricate Christmas light sequencing and displays for the whole town to enjoy.

To say I’m stuck in my ways is an understatement. I call it focus and determination. My siblings call me the family grump. Maybe I am grumpy, but my life is fine the way it is. I thrive on the familiar and the challenge the business gives me.

My neat and orderly life gets turned on its side when Astoria Kubek moves back to Palmer City. She wants to rekindle the friendship we had as children, but how can I when she made herself my competition by opening a new restaurant across the street from Brewski’s?

The last thing I want to do is be friends again. No matter how many times I make that clear, she insists on being in my life. She even has the audacity to ask me to help her create a special beer for her menu. How can I agree to help when her business might put my family’s sports bar in jeopardy?

But when she makes me an offer I can’t refuse, I begrudgingly invite her—and her playful kitten—into my space to teach her everything I know about brewing beer.

Our meddling families would like nothing more than for us to get together. And as our lessons progress, I realize I’m falling for her.

Just when I think we could make a relationship work, our biggest secrets come out. I’m humiliated, and she’s…a mess.

It doesn’t matter how much I've grown to love her or her cat or how caring she is to others. I don’t know how we can merge our worlds if we’re so fundamentally different.

They say Christmas is a season for miracles. Is it too much to ask for one? Because as much as I don’t want Astoria’s mess, I can’t imagine the rest of my life without her.

One Margarita is a sweet enemies-to-more grumpy-sunshine workplace romance with heartwarming characters, small-town shenanigans, and the Fluffiest Furball in the West.

Author’s Note: This book features characters from my Palmer City world. It’s a stand-alone, but if you love the town and characters, be sure to check out my Palmer City Voltage series.
