Jacob Knight’s world was flipped upside down when he accidentally pulled a ‘ghost’ into his world from the future, resulting in an encounter that should be impossible, revealing that he might not be the ‘good guy’ in the end.

Against all odds, can he protect his comrades and those he loves?
And when death comes knocking down his door, will he be able to escape an inescapable fate?
Prologue
My eyes widened in shock the moment I saw her, immediately understanding why she might get teased, but also feeling a little eerie about the sight.
Overall, she had a similar complexion as the pale boy with black hair, except that her hair was somehow more than dark, the color being as pitch-black as the void of space, her skin as smooth as porcelain, as if she was a living doll.
But then there were her eyes, which were far from normal.
Downcast at the moment, fear evident in her expression, I couldn’t see any white at all.
No sclera.
Instead, the entire opening for her eyes was oscillating shades of blue with specks of light flickering in and out, as if they were stars twinkling in the night sky. And directly in the middle of the shifting azure hues was a spiral pupil with three branches, like a black hole galaxy residing in a sea of blue space dust, the shifting material allowing for stars to twinkle in and out of sight.
She looked scared, so I figured I’d make this interview short.
However, it quickly became clear that she had something important to discuss.
Specifically, with me.
