Melba Escobar (Colombia, 1976) is a writer. She has a column at the Colombian newspapers El Espectador and El País. Her novel La casa de la belleza was chosen as one of the best books of 2016 by the Colombian National Novel Prize. Melba lives in Bogotá and spends her time between journalism and literature.
