While these volumes were created for the use of authors of historical fiction, it will also appeal to anyone interested in historical women's fashion. Volume I covers Ackermann's Repository's issues published between 1809 and 1814. Volume II, 1815-1818, Volume III, 1819-1822, and Volume IV, 1823-1828.
