After eight years in space the survivors of The Deliverance have returned to a world much different than the one they left. Ravaged by a novel pathogen, a nuclear war and the following civil unrest, it’s become a barren landscape filled with ever-evolving threats.
They were there to help. At least, that was the original mission of those tasked with finding a cure, and a moral mantra carried on by their families and colleagues. It was what kept Cass and the others from going insane while floating safe above all the destruction.
