She hasn’t yet come to blows with her wedding planner, her gown is hanging safely in her closet, and her farsight just helped put some rogue sorcerers, a pair of scheming elves, and a dirty counselor behind bars. She’s earned a few vacation days before the ceremony.
But just as Rose should be resting, farsight keeps her up all night painting—and what she finds on the canvas is a warning. Something is about to happen in the sleepy Blue Ridge town of Briardale, where her beloved great-aunt lives, but Rose can’t name it until word comes of a massive prison break across the Pactlands.
Her murderous great-grandfather is in the wind. He seems to have his power back, and he absolutely has scores to settle.
