The Skeptic Tracker's Fated Mate
(2025)(The seventh book in the Rainshadow Pack Shifters series)
A Story by Astrid Finch
I've spent months fighting what fate chose for me. She's about to make surrender irresistible.
Mitch
I've built my reputation on keeping humans at a safe distance—they're unpredictable, dangerous, and absolutely not mate material. Then Dr. Aurora Wilde arrives to study the wolves in our territory, and my carefully constructed prejudices crumble with every interaction. Her brilliant mind and fierce protective instincts draw me like gravity, but acknowledging the mate bond means admitting I've been wrong about everything. When hunters threaten her life, I'll have to choose between my principles and my mate.
Aurora
My research into unusual wolf behavior was supposed to be straightforward: collect data, publish findings, protect wildlife. Instead, I've stumbled into a world where the wolves I'm studying are actually people, and the man who's been watching me for months is my destined mate. Mitch's reluctant attraction and protective instincts awaken something primal in my scientist's heart, making me crave the wild strength he keeps so carefully protected.
The Tracker's Conflict is a spicy paranormal romance about a wolf researcher whose scientific world collides with supernatural reality when she discovers her study subjects are shapeshifters—and their conflicted protector is her fated mate. Features enemies-to-lovers tension, prejudice overcome by love, scientific curiosity meets supernatural wonder, and a security chief learning that the greatest protection comes from trust.
