We’re all wrong for each other. He’s almost twice my age…it can never work.

Mark Fletcher had the perfect life. At forty years old, he had a good job that let him travel to New York a few times a year. He had a big house with a big yard and a pool in the Cincinnati suburbs. He had a pension plan and a career that would keep him comfortable for the rest of his life. It wasn’t until he met Brandon Day that he realized how much his perfect life actually lacked.

Brandon Day wasn’t ready for a relationship. He wasn’t even looking for a one-night stand. Finding someone who could hold his interest outside of the bedroom would have been nice, but he wasn’t holding his breath. Something complicated and long-distance was completely out of the question. Until a banker from Ohio made him start to change his mind about… everything.

They only plan on spending a single night together. When that night turns into one week and then into two, will it be enough time to overcome all of the obstacles that stand between them? One of them will have to give up everything to take a chance on something that isn’t guaranteed to work. How do they decide?
