Paul Dodge has spent most of his career as a parole agent tracking down killers and those who wished to harm others. His dedication to the job helped hundreds of victims over the years get the justice they deserved. But this time was different. This time it was someone from his past.
‘I need you.’ Dodge must’ve listened to that message a hundred times. He wanted to delete it. But it was from her. The reason he left town and never looked back. Someone had taken her daughter, and although he wanted to ignore the situation, it was her.
Returning to the hometown he left so many years ago, Dodge must confront his past while navigating the seedy underworld of drug smuggling and human trafficking. Once on the case, he quickly runs afoul of a criminal enterprise with one goal in mind: to make Dodge disappear before he undermines their entire operation. Can Dodge find the girl and return her safely to her family? Or will he become another victim? A faded memory, like the time he once shared with her.
