My best friend Betsy should have told me she could shift into a unicorn.
My mother could have also mentioned that I come from a prominent fae family. Too bad I didn’t inherit the Stark family gift to see into the future.
Still, I’m not without my own magic. I can detect lies, even the smallest deception. It comes in super handy now that I’m investigating a conspiracy to unseat the fae prince from the throne.
And then another fae ends up dead, stabbed straight through the heart with a unicorn horn.
I know Betsy didn’t do it, but the Fae Court isn’t so sure. I’m going to need all the magic I can get to unravel this mess.
