Dane has always had a place in the pack. It just never feels like his.

While his brothers settle down with mates and clear roles, he’s stuck drifting, unsure what he wants. The only place that feels right lately is a small-town café and the human who always greets him with a smile and his usual order.

Seth has lived in Pecan Pines his whole life and likes it that way. Good coffee, familiar faces, no drama. But when his ex invites him to a wedding he can’t avoid, he needs a date fast. Someone dependable, and who won’t make things complicated…like Dane.

It’s only supposed to be temporary. A few dates, some hand-holding, a believable act, and then they go back to normal. Except it stops feeling like an act pretty quickly.

The more time they spend together, the harder it is to ignore the strong, instinctive pull between them. Because as far as Seth knows, humans don’t have fated mates.

Dane’s wolf has other ideas. Now they have to decide if this is just a convenient arrangement… or something neither of them is ready to walk away from.

Dane is book 12 of the Pecan Pines series.
