Murder in Pumpkin Regatta
(2026)(Book 11 in the Isabella Brookstone Mystery series)
A novel by Fiona Finch
Welcome to Whimsy Hollow—where giant pumpkins float, autumn secrets simmer, and one racer won’t reach the finish alive.
When Councilman Bram Kersey’s pumpkin boat drifts beneath the festival bridge, spectators think they see him wave. Minutes later, he’s found dead inside—with a wound beneath his coat and a paddle that never touched the water.
With Whiskers, sharp-eyed Lydia, dramatic Aunt Vivian, and steady-but-stubborn Jack Larson, librarian-sleuth Isabella Brookstone follows a trail of threatening messages, secret payments, torn costume scraps, and festival favors with dangerous strings attached.
Behind the cider stalls and scarecrow smiles, someone has turned a cherished autumn tradition into a cover for murder.
Everyone remembers the wave—and the killer is counting on it.
Genre: Cozy Mystery
