Freezing snowstorm outside, escaped prisoners inside. Which would you choose?
Lieutenant Pete Marshall and his National Guard unit are used to spending their days on earthquake clean up. Years of natural disasters has them fantasizing about stabler ground.
Ready to get the hell out of there, the men get word of a new mission. The task is transporting cult leader and notorious criminal David Clyde to Mueller Maximum Security, Alaska – appropriately nicknamed Muerte.
Six hours to pick up Clyde, transport him to Mueller and make it back to catch a military plane that will finally take them away.
Underqualified with zero preparation, they arrive at Mueller to find it’s run by a psychopath and his unorthodox methods to cut costs. Not to mention they’ve found themselves lumbered with a mouthy nurse, hellbent on exposing the convict mistreatment.
Suddenly, everything goes dark. No electricity, no vehicles and, above all, unlocked cells.
