A Crooked lawyer

Great Aunt Aphronia calls Rylly at three in the morning begging her to come to the old family mansion in Northumberland, England. She is a suspect in the murder of her solicitor (attorney) after a very public and nasty fight where she threw a heavy silver vase at him. He was later found at the foot of her drive with his head bashed in, the vase lying next to him.

When Rylly gets to Bemuir Manor two days later, she doesn’t find the tart-tongued, ornery octogenarian that left her island. Instead, Great Aunt Aphronia’s limp is so bad she can barely walk with a cane, her skin is green and her head is full of mush instead of brains.

Someone in the family wants Aphronia dead or so it seems. In what seems like a crazy game of Russian Roulette, family members are dropping like flies.

Can Rylly and Kohler keep themselves alive long enough to find the killer or will the wheel spin against them before Great Aunt Aphronia can reach her 90th birthday?
