Fleeing a burning Derwyn, Flora Reed and her friends find themselves at SEEDS, a secretive corporation bent on decoding nature’s language. She holds the last key to understanding tree-talk so that SEEDS can reproduce the process of talking to nature with advanced technology, the result of years of research.
