Can depending on the wrong guy turn out right?

KINSLEY: Inheriting my great-aunt’s trailer park seems like a blessing after being on my own for years. Until I find out it’s run-down and populated by angry tenants demanding long overdue repairs that I can’t afford and are beyond my laughably nonexistent skill level. Bill, the ex-military loner, agrees to help for six months in exchange for free rent. Working beside him every day, I fall hard. He's gruff and broken and everything I never knew I could depend on. The way he looks at me makes me believe I might have finally found my place, but I worry that if I tell him how I feel he’ll retreat back in his shell.

BILL: It's just me and my dog Roger hiding out in this trailer park after I came back from military service a shell of the man I used to be. Until a sweet younger woman shows up drowning in problems, and I open up my big mouth and agree to help her. She sees past my scars and makes me want things I buried after the war. When a developer offers her life-changing money, I’m man enough to admit the truth. She deserves better than this place and a broken man like me, and before she can figure that out for herself, I need to push her away. The problem is, I don’t know if I give her up.

Depending on the Wrong Guy is a short, steamy and sweet, age gap, grumpy/sunshine, ex-military romance featuring a hopeful heroine and the older man who wins her heart.
