Having only his wits and the help of his fried, Neil, he goes on the run, heading south, attempting to lose his pursuers, first in a truck and then in the midst of the glorious Drakensberg Mountains.

In a series of darkly funny adventures Max finally tries to turn the tables on his tormentors and confronts them with the help of his friends and family in a climatic showdown.
