A Novella by

My target is a vampire with a name fit for a Greek god--Zopyros Persopoulos--and he has the good looks to match. More importantly, he runs Datagenex and it's his DNA database that will reveal why my blood kills vampires. I just need to get him alone and hack Datagenex's servers without falling into that smoldering gaze of his that makes me feel like I'm on fire.

Posing as a blood courtesan is the perfect cover...right up until everything goes wrong.

A brand new novella in the Blood Courtesans world. Complete story with HEA and no cliffhanger. Enjoy!

EXCERPT

Pyros stalked over to me, and I found myself backing up as he crowded my personal space. My legs bumped the back of the couch, and I plopped down.

"So. You thought being a blood courtesan would get you what you wanted?" He leaned down, looming over me. The spicy scent of his aftershave and a hint of cigar filled my nose. "Well, through your own stupidity, you're going to find out if that was a good plan or not."

"I am?" My voice came out in a cartoon-character squeak. Like someone had throat punched Alvin right after he downed a tanker of helium.

"I will take you as mine."

"You will?" This was a whisper. My vocal cords had drawn tight and I couldn't move air, let alone give words any volume.

"In every way." His words throbbed with wickedness.

My body responded with a throb of its own, like a nearby tribe answering a signal. His voice--just his voice--had slipped through my skin cells to the vulnerable flesh beneath.

Ohgodohgodohgod.

This was a different kind of vampire attack. Soft and sultry and sensuous. A seduction that would suck the life right out of a girl if she wasn't careful.
