Dishonest Way to Die

Visiting a south coast town to check on the activities of a former London villain, Detective Sergeant Scamp soon finds something rotten in local society. The apparent suicide of a wealthy estate agent resolves itself into a crude case of murder, and Scamp discovers evidence of intimidation worthy of the London scene. The ex-London villain runs true to form, and confronts Scamp with a few nasty surprises before he is finally nailed down.
