The Hell's Angel Kidnapping

When a sixteen-year-old girl is snatched from her bed at night as a hostage by an intruder, Detective Sergeant Scamp's prime concern is to safeguard the victim's life. The father cannot be trusted to co-operate with the police for fear that his daughter will be killed. The dilemma for Scamp is whether to compound a felony by allowing the father to buy back his daughter's life for a ransom, or whether to try to outwit the kidnapper and the father together, thus putting the girl's life in greater danger.
