Trina has to deal with her Gran Ruth. The woman is notoriously in everyone’s business, and always matchmaking when she can. To my dismay, she has a record to prove she’s always right. This time though, she’s gone too far.
Except, maybe not. It isn’t her fault my car got another flat tire, but it is her fault for sending one hot tow-truck driver. Even if he can have any woman he wants, I’ll still enjoy the view.
I’m not stupid though, I’ve heard Gran’s stories of the shifters here in Crooked Creek, I’ve just never met one. Until now. Sure, I’ll let him service my car, but then I need to have words with Gran. I think though that my rescuer has another service on his mind and it has nothing to do with cars.
