NOCTURNE: Where Magic and Metal CollideThe groundbreaking novel that was the origin point for the entire Scottiverse saga!

Scott Fuller's life is circling the drain. In possession of inexplicably insistent blue-hair, broke beyond belief, and branded a criminal after his military career imploded due to a situation that he has long since taken responsibility for; he's staring down eviction in a backwater town where even the stray cats avoid him. But when a desperate cry pierces the veil between worlds, Scott does the unthinkable—he answers.

Thrust into a realm where magic flows like electricity and monsters lurk in ancient forests, Scott finds himself defending a beautiful winged woman from her would-be captors. One savage battle later, he's bonded to an angel, and dragged off to the police station by a pair of absurdly hot, but sadistic, magical enforcers. Worse, or perhaps better depending on one's thoughts on the matter, he is eventually determined to have an extraordinary, nearly inhuman, "empathic resonance"—a power that makes him like sexy catnip to every supernatural female that comes anywhere near him.

Now Scott must navigate a world where battle harems are standard practice, rock music can literally blow up mountains, and his growing attraction not only to the incredible sweet and hot angel he sort-of rescued, but also to a host of other supernatural women, including a certain cookie baking blue-haired enforcer. The latter of which being further complicated by the fact that she once threw him in jail. Meanwhile, a shrine maiden with daddy issues reluctantly becomes his training partner, a voluptuous professor offers "hands-on" magical education, and strangest of all... his, as mentioned incredibly hot and sweet, angel girlfriend is surprisingly cool with all of it.

As Scott's powers grow, so do the threats against him. From forest roving magical douche bags to weird cursed tree monsters, and even the dread existential horror known as 'Career Day', danger lurks around every corner. But the greatest challenge might be reconciling his old-world morals with his new reality as a harem-building sorcerer rockstar in training.

NOCTURNE is a pulse-pounding journey through a world where garbled metal lyrics become deadly spells, monster hunting pays the bills, and one man's interdimensional accidental adventurer becomes destiny, or something. Raw, hilarious, and unapologetic in its nonsense and epic boobery, this is the moderately-explosive origin story that launched the entire Scottiverse!

"Throw yourself into the abyss. The universe might just bake you cookies... but it would never give its milk to a criminal."
