Granny's Ghost and the Deadly Dentist
(2026)(Book 29 in the Ghostly Gumshoe Cozy Mystery series)
A Story by Sloane Finley
New Oslo's friendliest dental office just lost a patient. Permanently.
Lena Larsen doesn't love the dentist. She doesn't hate it, exactly, but she'd rather be doing almost anything else. Still, the staff at New Oslo Family Dentistry is warm, the chair is comfortable, and the worst thing that's ever happened is a mildly judgmental lecture about flossing.
Until today.
When a patient turns up dead mid-appointment, Lena's routine cleaning becomes a crime scene, and everyone in the office becomes a suspect. The victim was the kind of man who collected enemies the way other people collect stamps, and in a building full of people who had every reason to dislike him, the question isn't who wanted him gone. It's who wanted it badly enough to act.
With her boyfriend, Sheriff Mark Hanson, leading the investigation, Lena can't help noticing the things other people miss. The story that doesn't quite add up. The detail that nags. The answer hiding in plain sight. And back home, she has a secret weapon that no one else knows about: the ghost of her late grandmother. Granny Ingrid may be dead, but she's never once let that stop her from having an opinion.
Genre: Cozy Mystery
