River takes the stage at the bachelor auction for Camp Hope, the camp for disadvantaged kids at Foxwood Creek. The women in the audience yell and hoot, making him very uncomfortable. Then the bidding begins. He’s delighted with the woman who wins his date. He hired Sam to investigate, but this isn’t about business. This is personal.

William, an Emergency Room doctor, steps on the stage last. He’s horrified at the wild women, but the winner is stunning. She tells him she has a job interview, but she doesn’t tell him where it is. He doesn’t know she’s a doctor until she arrives at the hospital for an interview with
him. He tells her they can’t have a personal relationship if she works for him, but Lea wants William and the job. She settles for the job, hoping he’ll change his mind about a relationship.

Sam’s investigation reveals upsetting news about River’s natural mother, but that isn’t the only shocking thing she discovers. And it all involves River.
