No Way Back

A novel by

Late 1941 - Allied shipping is easy prey. Focke-Wulf Condors roam at will across the Atlantic, sinking ships and shadowing convoys for the Wolfpacks. There are no aircraft carriers to spare. Drastic times call for drastic measures. Put an 80ft long rocket catapult on the front of a civilian transport ship and stick a Hawker Hurricane on a launch cradle.

It takes a certain kind of pilot to sign up for a one way trip. Once they’ve dealt with the Condor. they can either ditch, or bail out and hope that someone picks them up before they freeze to death in the middle of the Atlantic.
