Glen Tuich has had no murders in the last ten years. Then, suddenly, they have two.
An Aberdeen MIT team is dispatched, and given temporary accommodation for the duration of their investigation.
The first challenge for DCI Jones and her compatriots is to overcome their "outsider" labels in the small community - not an easy task. The second, of course, is to track down the killer.
But as ever, nothing is as it seems.
