The Player. Albeit Kien could’ve gone without the crash landing to Earth but since hes here, he might as well enjoy himself and their new mission: use the humans’ idea of a dating app to meet and sample as many human women as possible. This was quickly turning into the best mission—ever. It wasn’t until after his neighbor’s fiery best friend came along and his easy-going single lifestyle was suddenly in question. Unlike Phate, who was a romantic at heart, Kien prided himself in his ability to disconnect from the opposite sex. Romantic entanglements had never been his thing but, here he was, obsessing over a petite female from a planet he hadn’t known existed a few months ago. The smart course of action would be to steer clear of Nisha until the rescue ship arrived, putting her and Earth far behind him.
So, why had he accepted a new mission with the very female who could make him unravel? Because he was a glutton for punishment.
The Playette. Nisha wants nothing to do with the man she’d had one horrible date with. Kien was not only a player, but a jerk as well. When her help is needed to provide a cover as a doting and loving couple in order to get their Captain the medicine he needed to survive, she agreed, although she would rather be anywhere but with Kein.
Nisha could lie to Kien about her feelings, but her heart? There’s no lying to it. It’ll take all her resolve to get through the road trip without losing herself in the sexy as hell alien. How was she going to spend a week with this alien when she could barely last a few minutes in his presence?
