Alan Goldsher is the author of the forthcoming mash-up "Paul is Undead: The British Zombie Invasion" (Simon & Schuster, 2010), as well as seven other books, including "Modest Mouse: A Pretty Good Read" (St. Martin's), "Hard Bop Academy: The Sidemen of Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers" (Hal Leonard), and the novel "Jam" (Permanent Press). As a ghostwriter, Alan has collaborated with numerous celebrities and public figures, including actor Robert "Freddy Krueger" Englund and amputee triathlete Sarah Reinertsen. Alan is currently co-writing the novel "Midnight Movie" with film director Tobe Hooper ("The Texas Chainsaw Massacre"). His sportswriting has been seen in ESPN The Magazine, Sport, and NBA.com.
