In Vacanza

Set in the beautiful Italian resort of San Lorenzo, 'In Vacanza' describes the revitalising effects of a two-week holiday taken by a group of British tourists, as seen through the eyes of Amanda, a young Englishwoman. Although she cannot prevent her relationship from breaking down, Amanda feels transformed and uplifted by her holiday. She also becomes increasingly attracted to Eros, a charming, unrestrained Italian, who seems to personify Italy itself.
A novel about the magic of Italy, 'In Vacanza' also pays homage to films like 'Enchanted April', 'Only You' and 'Summer Madness'.
