If you've hung with the crew of the Kingfisher for any time at all, you know that the galaxy is threatening to fall apart at any moment. The real shock is that it hasn't already. Now, at least, the crew is playing offense, going after some of the people they've known are causing the problems and doing something about it, but it's never easy. This time there's some familiar ground in play.
Utopia is in danger, and they've got to figure out how and why before they can start trying to make a plan to save it, if that's even possible. Meanwhile, Avery is going to get to meet one of his heroes in the person of Amanda Carter, but she's got her own surprises and secrets that are going to upend everything else they're doing.
At least they're used to it at this point.
