Jim Trumbull didn't look like the answer to a prayer, but he was. Gaye's marriage had failed, and she had lost the one thing that would have given her any joy from it-her baby. Her future looked bleak. Then a great dark mountain of a man arrived. He demanded that she care for his tiny grandson, who'd been deserted by his parents.
