Welcome to the Great Texas Zombie Hunt!
As zombies continue to grow in numbers, people are finding crazy ways to exploit the undead. Angie is coerced into helping wealthy elites hunt zombies in a Texas version of ‘The Most Dangerous Game.’ Angie wants out, but she’s caught in a difficult place. She has an aversion for the hunters but needs to protect a mysterious child from the dangers of the hunt.
When the undead Lich crashes the hunt, the bear monster sows chaos while literally eating the rich. These hunters won’t back down, though. They are titans of success. Losing isn’t in their blood. And besides, they have two of the best zombie-hunting teams in the world with Angie and Murder and a woman known only as the Necrohandler. Her German Shepherd, the disciplined Czar, is every bit an upgraded and improved hunter over the constant mayhem of Murder, but how Czar was trained will challenge Angie’s relationship with Murder.
As the Lich unleashes her will upon the landscape, Angie faces a personal crisis. How do you show dignity to the dead when the dead are being exploited by parasitic wasps and humans? Is there any value in dignifying a body once the soul has left?
Now, Angie must try to keep everyone and their dogs alive long enough to figure this out. If she’s going to defeat the Lich, she’ll have to teach Murder some new tricks, and she may have to embrace a little of his mayhem herself.
