U.S. Marshal William Cloud Gatherer is sent to stop a mysterious series of killings in the mining town of Ruby City, Idaho.
It turns out these are no ordinary murders. They are being committed by mythic beasts from Ireland and Scotland.
Before he even reaches Ruby City, William has to battle a band of Shoshone warriors, intent on taking his scalp.
