Movie stars, politicians, Florida residents, and tourists from around the world once came to Sarasota's Lido Beach Casino to gamble and enjoy the sun, sand and surf. Unfortunately, the casino's proximity to the Gulf caused it to deteriorate and it was razed and replaced with a simple beach pavilion.
Now that pavilion has deteriorated and there's a proposal to build a NEW Lido Beach Casino on the site.
Bad idea.
Because suddenly bodies are turning up. Bizarre deaths.
Mervyn Grayson, retired federal prosecutor turned Sarasota realtor, has reason to believe these deaths are murder...and linked to the proposed casino. He enlists the aid of homicide Lieutenant James "Mack" Mackay and Detective Tyler Jackson.
As they investigate, anti and pro-casino forces clash, and the bizarre murders escalate. Grayson, Mack, and Tyler find themselves locked in a high-stakes game with a wealthy psychopath who wants control of the casino and plays with a winner-kill-all attitude.
