The Flamingo is the most exclusive condominium on Sawfish Key, Florida’s most exclusive barrier island. It’s also home to the Sanderson twins, Warwick and Wyatt, who serve as co-CEOs of Sanderson & Sanderson, one of Florida’s most influential personal injury law firms. Crime on the Key is nearly nonexistent. So, it’s shocking when Warwick Sanderson suddenly vanishes into thin air. Wyatt Sanderson demands answers, and the case falls to newly hired Detective Olive Oonetti. During her investigation, she discovers several Flamingo residents who would gladly have done Warwick in. He has a South American mistress with connections to the Black Scorpions, a dangerous drug cartel. He might have been about to divorce his spouse, and has two of the greediest adult children imaginable. But while Olive has no shortage of suspects…what she doesn’t have is a body or a shred of evidence.
