Jebediah, Bose and Bogie are joined by Nes, the Blood-elf known as the Night Princess and the only other human Jeb has found that survived being dumped in the Endless Dungeon, a teenage nerd who is super smart but woefully unprepared for the Crucible of War.
Humanity still has not landed from their Tutorials and Jeb has no clue what City it will be besides the high unlikelihood of it being Blood City. He must get the human girl Jessica strong enough to survive and must find out not only where Humanity lands but how he will get to them. Some of his soldiers were pulled into the Crucible and are relying on their 'Sarge' to come get them. Earth is on a countdown to the arrival of the System and the Empire. The weight on his shoulders keeps getting heavier and heavier and his mind is broken. He's an old man with demons riding not only his bones, literally, but his history is riddled with them. Add into that the Greenskins of the Skull and Bones wanting to kill him and the machinations of the Blood-elf Spiders behind the scenes pulling threads and his plate is falling over piled with shit. Time to grit his teeth and get the shit on the move. He was Army, he was a Dogface. Even broken he could still stand for something!!
