WARBORN — EARTH — I — THE MOON HAS SPOKEN
A Post Apocalyptic LitRPG

For fans of Warborn, this is where Earth fell.

Six months ago, fifty thousand people vanished in pillars of blinding light. Among the missing were Jebediah Stone and his Cane Corso, Bose, taken from the Ozarks and thrown into the Crucible of War—a floating asteroid controlled by the Great Galactic Empire where abducted worlds are turned into televised death games for the entertainment and profit of the powerful.

Earth was left behind in chaos.

Governments accused rival nations. Militaries mobilized. Economies staggered under riots, panic, conspiracy theories, and fear. Entire religions formed around the disappearances while others collapsed completely. For four months the planet stood on the edge of global war waiting for answers that never came.

Then the ships arrived.

Massive destroyer-class vessels appeared in orbit above Earth and simply remained there, silent and unmoving like executioners waiting for the order to swing the axe.

One month later, humanity learned the truth.

The System descended.

Every man, woman, and child on Earth was dragged into deadly Tutorials while the planet itself was violently rewritten into something new. Mana flooded the world, mountains shifted, oceans changed course, forests mutated into monstrous wildlands, and animals evolved into apex predators while entirely new horrors appeared across the globe. Earth was no longer Earth. It was becoming a world capable of surviving power.

Humanity was told this was ascension. Humanity was lied to.

Hidden behind the orbital fleet, one of the Great Families of the Empire had manipulated Earth’s integration and forced the System to arrive early. To the Empire, Earth was never meant to become an equal civilization. It was an investment, a future world to be stripped bare for resources, labor, slaves, and profit after the population had been broken.

But the Great Family had one final safeguard.

Those identified as having the highest combat potential were secretly diverted away from the standard Tutorials and thrown into isolated solo dungeons with survival rates bordering on impossible. The goal was simple: eliminate future threats before they could rise against the Empire.

One of those chosen was Malachai Blackthorn.

Former MMA prodigy. Addict. Survivor.

A man whose fighting career ended the day his knee shattered beneath him. A man who spent five years drowning in painkillers and self-destruction before finding purpose helping others through the church, even if he never truly believed in faith himself.

The Empire expected him to die alone in the dark.

They chose the wrong man.

Because while Earth burns beneath the arrival of the System and humanity fights to survive the birth of a new world, Malachai Blackthorn is about to become something the Empire never planned for, something dangerous enough to fight back.

He is Warborn.
