A novel by

Lewis Carroll lied so children could sleep.
This is the Wonderland he hid.

Grimdark Steampunk LitRPG.
Brutal progression.
Wonderland without the whimsy.

Wonderland is not the place you remember.

The tea has gone cold.
The courts have fallen silent.
And the city never stops moving.

Dragged from Earth into a vast, vertical metropolis of brass, stone, and steam, Corvin Wren discovers that Wonderland runs on rules he never agreed to. Numbers crawl across his vision. Invisible thresholds lock his body in place. Progress is tracked, measured, and punished when it goes wrong.

Here, survival is not heroic.
It is
permitted.

The city is governed by an unseen System that tolerates vice, violence, and decay as long as everything keeps working. Factions war quietly through factories and alleys. Clockwork constructs guard sealed spaces. Dungeons open where they shouldn’t, and close without warning.

Corvin’s only guide is Daffodil, a goblin scavenger who knows how to live between the gears without being crushed by them.

As Corvin learns the cost of gaining strength in a city that optimizes for stability, he begins to realize that Wonderland does not erase its past.

It buries it.

Somewhere beneath the streets, old names still carry weight.
Some truths were never corrected, only contained.
And the System is already watching him too closely.

Welcome back to Wonderland.
This time, it’s not pretending to be kind.
