Summer Sets on the Dead holds a special place in my heart. It was the very first novel I ever attempted to write, originally drafted more than twenty-five years ago, long before I became a full-time author.
I've chosen to publish it largely for nostalgia's sake and as a glimpse into where my novel writing journey began. You'll undoubtedly notice rough edges, awkward turns of phrase, and grammar that reflects an enthusiastic beginner still learning the craft. Rather than rewrite it into something modern, I've preserved its original spirit so readers can experience it much as it was first imagined.
