A sorcerous madman. A secret history. Eldritch powers that are an affront to Nature itself.
Could you watch the fall of your entire world?
For the first time in generations, Tommy Maple has reason to live.
Tommy's new companion, Ciaran, comes from a village out of time, a village that holds the answer to one of Tommy's deepest desires. Glamour-drenched people have made this place their home, and what's more, could make room for all manner of fey-folke.
A home for all his people.
And yet, this home is in grave danger.
The sorcerous Ryker Carrows has targeted the village before. While the Herald drove him away, it seems that the fiend still has dark designs upon Unterfels.
While plumbing the depths of insanity for reason or logic, Tommy encounters depravity he has never seen in all his centuries of life. Something new. Something dangerous. In a Telling gone awry, Ryker Carrows is forewarned of Tommy's plans.
Now the Herald frantically seeks the sorcerer before Samhain night. Yet if he is to succeed, he must face the worst choices he ever made.
Can Tommy overcome the blunders of his past and save everything he loves - and everyone?
